About the Fire & Fury Women’s League

The Fire & Fury Women’s League is a draft-based women’s T20 cricket league created to develop, showcase, and celebrate the incredible female cricketing talent within Eastern Cricket and beyond.
Built on the success of our inaugural 2025 tournament, Fire & Fury returns in 2026 bigger, bolder, and more competitive than ever – expanding to six teams competing across two action-packed weekends of day and feature night matches.
The league brings together female players aged 14 and older – from school and club cricket to provincial representation – in an exciting, empowering, and highly competitive environment designed to grow the women’s game while creating meaningful opportunities for players to shine.
While Fire & Fury remains proudly rooted in Eastern Cricket, the tournament also welcomes applications from players outside the union to help strengthen competition and create broader opportunities for women’s cricket development.
Our mission is to create a space where women’s cricket is taken seriously, talent and hard work are celebrated, and future stars of the game are forged – both on and off the field.
Built by Women, for Women
Fire & Fury is proudly organised and managed by women — from logistics and coaching to scoring, streaming, and (where possible) umpiring. The league exists not only to create opportunities for female players, but also to empower women throughout every aspect of the game.

- Visibility for Women’s Cricket: Through live streaming, social media coverage, photography, and branding opportunities, Fire & Fury aims to give female cricketers the visibility and recognition they deserve.
